From carjacking to sex — and now computer theft

First, it was a carjacking; then, a car crash blamed on oral sex. Now, Camden County authorities claim L’Affaire of Sara Blasse of Vineland stemmed from her and her boyfriend stealing a laptop from a parked car and later trying to torch her Kia Sorrento with the paper-towels-in-the-gas-tank trick Saturday morning.

Boasting on MySpace that “You can’t break the girl who thinks nothing of you and everything of herself,” the 23-year-old was initially charged with filing a false report for the story of getting attacked — by an armed man who supposedly threw her 5-foot-4, 300-pound frame from her father’s SUV.

At a Vineland hospital with a broken arm, she then claimed the crash occurred because she was performing oral sex on a male prostitute she’d picked up. Yesterday, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office alleged that Blasse and boyfriend Henry Goode Jr. actually stole a laptop from a parked car in Chesilhurst in Camden County and then crashed her family’s SUV which they tried unsuccessfully to torch.

“She [said] she had been a victim of a carjacking,” the police report said. “She then changed her story. … Neither story held up to scrutiny.”

Fleeing in separate directions, Goode then allegedly stole a South Jersey Gas van — which he also was unsuccessful in torching, after driving it through a fence and fleeing to Buena Vista Township. Both Goode and Blasse are charged with aggravated arson, burglary, theft and destroying evidence; Blasse still has the false-report charge. Additional charges are pending against both. Blasse is out on bail; Goode is still in custody. The laptop owner called police upon seeing the theft. The $500 computer has been returned.
