Breaking down the Eagles' Undrafted Free Agents class of 2026

The Eagles have managed to find some very good talent within their signings of Undrafted Free Agents. Here's who Philly has brought in to compete for a roster spot.

Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to have a slow start to signing undrafted free agents, but minutes later, the signings came in so fast that I could barely keep up.

As usual, they landed some players with intriguing upside who could make their way onto the roster, and brought in another traits-based player through the international pathway program. There are a few who have a legit path to making the roster.

The UDFAs

Rocco Underwood, LS, Florida
Rocco Underwood may have a clearer path than most UDFAs simply because there’s an immediate opening at long snapper. With size, athleticism, and a real chance to compete for the job, this signing makes a lot of sense.

Jaeden Roberts, IOL, Alabama
Roberts has the size and power, and is an intriguing signing by Philadelphia. He plays with the kind of physical temperament the Eagles covet inside, and he has a real chance to not only make the practice squad, but the 53-man roster.

Dae’Quan Wright, TE, Ole Miss

Dae’Quan Wright gives the Eagles another athletic pass-catching option at tight end, with the ability to stretch the field and create after the catch. If his blocking continues to develop, there’s enough upside here to make noise this summer. Wright’s 16.3 yards per reception was ranked among the best in the 2026 tight end class.

Maximus Pulley, S, Wofford
Maximus Pulley feels like the kind of under-the-radar safety the Eagles love taking swings on, bringing versatility to play deep or in the slot, along with impressive explosiveness. Despite lacking ideal size, his instincts and athletic profile give him a real shot to compete as a developmental safety with upside.

Josh Weru, DL/LB/EDGE, Kenya
Josh Weru is another classic traits-based addition that the Eagles love to bet on. An explosive athlete with rare movement skills and enormous developmental upside. Coming from the international pathway, he feels like a stash-and-develop prospect who could pay off in a big way if his raw skills translate.

Tucker Large, S, Washington State
Tucker may not have prototype size, but he has proven to be versatile and offers special-teams ability. He could find his way to the roster in some capacity by proving those traits translate to the NFL this summer.

Deontae Lawson, LB, Alabama

Deontae Lawson feels like a steal as an undrafted free agent. His production, leadership, and roster-worthy traits led many to project him as a surefire day-three pick. He has a real chance to compete for a linebacker spot and could be one of the more notable signings in this class. He led the Crimson Tide with 89 tackles.

Kapena Gushiken, DB, Ole Miss
I sound like a broken record describing many of these defensive back UDFA additions, but there seems to be a type or a theme, and Kapena also brings the versatility and instincts Philadelphia values. His experience playing multiple positions in the secondary and on special teams helps his chances.

Isiah King, LB, Idaho
Isiah King is an intriguing prospect at linebacker, shaped by a defensive back background, as evidenced by his movement skills. He’ll need development, but the upside and production make him a fascinating flier.

As always, thank you for reading!
