Sixteen cars were damaged on a Logan block last week, and detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the vandal.
Investigators said a man leaning out the passenger’s side window of a sedan broke windows on each of the vehicles at around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, on the 4800 block of N. 12th Street. All of the impacted cars were parked on the east side of the block, according to authorities.
Police released surveillance footage Thursday that shows the perpetrator puncturing the windows while his car briefly stops beside each of the parked vehicles. The suspect’s car, possibly a black Honda sedan, was last spotted heading south on nearby Camac Street, law enforcement officials said.
As of Tuesday, there were no arrests, a police spokesperson told Metro. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the PPD’s Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353/3354 or call or text the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
