Manayunk Restaurant Week is returning this fall for its largest event yet.

Set for Sept. 14 to 20, participating restaurants throughout the week will serve specially curated prix fixe menus and dining specials showcasing signature dishes, seasonal ingredients and the different personalities of their kitchens.  Lunch menus will start at $15, while multi-course dinner menus will be offered at $25, $35 and $45 (before tax and gratuity).

As a release notes, Restaurant Week is also a chance to experience all that Manayunk has to offer beyond the dining table: Visitors can explore scenic Main Street, shop local boutiques and galleries, and enjoy live performances from local buskers throughout the occasion as well.

"Manayunk Restaurant Week is one of our most anticipated culinary events, bringing together our restaurant community while encouraging Restaurant Week is one of our most anticipated culinary events, bringing together our restaurant community while encouraging guests to experience the incredible range of dining options available throughout Manayunk," says Joan Denenberg, from the Manayunk Development Corporation. "Whether you're a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, it's a wonderful opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy outstanding meals at special prices."

With more than 20 restaurants participating, the lineup this year spans everything from tacos and Thai cuisine to sushi, barbecue, burgers, pizza, pasta, and Mediterranean favorites.

For a quick and affordable meal, spots like Bar Jawn, Lucky’s Last Chance, The Rook, and The Tomato Shack are offering $15 options, while JD McGillicuddy’s has two-course lunch specials and Cactus Cantina will serve up bites like tacos, nachos, and margaritas. Taqueria Amor is another standout for budget-friendly Mexican fare, with three-course options starting at $15.

Those looking to turn dinner into an occasion can choose from a variety of $35 and $45 prix fixe menus as well. Jake and Cooper’s Wine Bar will pair three courses with its cozy atmosphere, and Mia Ragazza will offer hungry diners house-made pastas and Roman-style pizza. Chabaa Thai Bistro will serve up culinary specialties from Thailand, Yanako will showcase Japanese-inspired dishes and sushi, and Zesty’s will continue to craft Mediterranean classics. For something seasonal, Manayunk Brew Pub, Sophie’s BBQ, and The Goat’s Beard are also known to hold a menu full of fall flavors.

Some Manayunk Restaurant Week highlights include Bar Jawn’s Caesar salad and pizza combo, Bayou Bar Grill’s snow crab legs and Old Bay fries, Blondie’s fried chicken and French toast and Taqueria Amor’s list of carnitas, birria and shrimp tacos. Seafood lovers can look to Yanako for Scottish salmon or a chef-selected chirashi bowl as well, and meat lovers can opt to dine at Sophie’s BBQ for a  trio of St. Louis ribs, brisket and smoked pulled chicken. And for dessert, options range from tiramisu and mango sticky rice to chocolate cake, bread pudding and even a six-scoop ice cream flight at Tubby Robot.

"The different price points allow diners to choose a menu that works for their budget while giving each restaurant the opportunity to highlight some of their favorite dishes," adds Brendan McGrew, Director of Operations for Voracious Hospitality Group, which operates The Goat's Beard and Mia Ragazza. "It also makes dining more affordable, allowing guests to experience several restaurants throughout the week."
