The next big event in the NFL offseason begins later this week in the NFL Combine. The Combine will take place from Thursday, Feb. 26 to Sunday, March 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Combine is the biggest event for invited college football prospects who are expected to be selected in the NFL Draft in late April to showcase their skills in front of coaches and general managers and interview with all 32 NFL teams.
On top of the players putting their skills to the test, GM’s and head coaches will speak to the media on the first two days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni are scheduled to speak on Tuesday publicly for the first time since Jan. 15 for the end of the season wrap up which was primarily dominated by questions regarding the decision to move on from Kevin Patullo, what went wrong overall and what qualities and experience their new offensive coordinator would need.
On Wednesday, more general managers and head coaches around the league will speak with the media, along with the first group of players including defensive linemen, linebackers and placekickers.
On Thursday (Feb. 26) defensive backs and tight ends will take the podium while on Friday (Feb. 27) the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers will speak publicly. On Saturday (Feb. 28), the offensive linemen will speak.
The action on the field will begin on Wednesday with kicking workouts. On Thursday, measurements and on-field workouts will take place with the bench press serving as the last workout on Friday. Here’s a list of all the on-field drills:
