Clover Market returns with new vendors, spring events

Posted

Some creativity is going to be sprinkled throughout Philly this spring, and lovers of hand-made finds are in luck.

The Clover Market is opening back up for the sunny season with its first iteration set for Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Chestnut Hill.

The award-winning market debuted in 2010 with the mission to provide a venue for independent artisans and antique dealers to connect with customers who love to shop small. The experience began in Ardmore, then eventually expanded to hold events in coordination with the local business districts in Bryn Mawr, Chestnut Hill, Collingswood and Kennett Square.

Over the years, Clover Market has provided a venue for hundreds and hundreds of small businesses to connect with customers who love to shop independently. Their markets are curated, and they focus specifically on handmade goods and high-quality vintage finds— and 2026 will be no different. In fact, it will actually be bigger this go-around.

“After a record-breaking application cycle earlier this year, we’re thrilled to welcome 340 curated vendors across our eight outdoor markets, including 65 talented vendors joining us for the first time,” says Clover Market founder Janet Long. “The new vendors are a diverse and talented mix joining us from the greater Philadelphia area to Vermont, Baltimore, New York, New Jersey, and everything in between.”

The Chestnut Hill Market will be held along W. Highland Avenue, starting at Germantown Avenue, and extending into the Turquoise parking lot (25 W. Highland Ave.), with support from the Chestnut Hill Business District. As a release notes, opening day attendees can enjoy food and beverages from Bonjour Creperie, Korea Taqueria, Mom Mom’s, Redstone Pizza, Mr. Big Stuff Cookie Co., and Many Hands Coffee. Live music will be provided by Wayside Shakeup from noon to 3 p.m., and there will also be face painting and free crafts for children.

Visitors are also encouraged to explore the downtown area of Chestnut Hill, which offers a variety of unique shops and restaurants. The event is free and open to all (including friendly, leashed dogs). Customers can utilize street parking and the Parking Foundation lots throughout the downtown for this event as well.

Now in its 17th year, the Clover Market has become a popular destination for shoppers across the greater Philadelphia region and has earned multiple honors, including “Best of Philly” and “Best of the Main Line.” The Market will continue its spring season with upcoming outdoor events on April 26 in Collingswood, New Jersey, May 17 in Bryn Mawr, and June 7 in Kennett Square. Each event will feature a rotating lineup of 90 to 100 vendors and food trucks.
