Love, Chestnut Hill – Celebrate community and local shops this weekend

Posted

Love, Chestnut Hill is back, bringing together the community for a day of shopping, fun, and local pride.

This popular event celebrates the heart of Chestnut Hill by encouraging residents and visitors to support the area’s unique businesses—with the added bonus of a curated raffle.

When you shop local in the picturesque neighborhood this weekend, you not only discover one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and specialty shops along historic Germantown Avenue, but you also have the chance to win gift baskets. Every purchase of $25 or more earns you a raffle entry, and you can increase your chances by visiting multiple spots throughout the day.

Here’s how it works: On Saturday, Feb. 7,  spend $25 or more at any participating business to receive a raffle ticket. Fill out your information, and the business will keep the ticket stub while you hold onto your portion. Ticket stubs will be collected from all participating venues,  and three lucky winners will be drawn on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

While there this weekend, locals can browse stylish finds at Artisans On the Avenue, where you’ll discover curated clothing, accessories, and gifts, or explore the carefully chosen fashions at Serendipity Shops. For distinctive resale treasures, check out My Favorite Things Exotic Resale, a family‑run shop with eclectic pieces you won’t find anywhere else, or fashion lovers can also check out TC Unlimited Boutique, known for stylish apparel and accessories in a welcoming setting.

Foodies and market fans will love exploring Market at the Fareway, where a variety of local vendors offer everything from fresh baked goods to ready‑to‑eat fare—an ideal stop to grab a snack or light lunch while you shop and collect raffle tickets. And for custom gifts and monogrammed goodies, Threadwell adds a personal touch to your visit with embroidered and custom gift items on every shelf in the store.

Every purchase helps support local businesses, and every step along Germantown Avenue brings new discoveries.
