Following the success of its fall debut, Manayunk Development Corporation is bringing the flavor back to Main Street with the launch of a brand-new spring edition of its Restaurant Week.
From March 2 to 8, the charming section of the city’s downtown will transform for a weeklong celebration of dynamic dining, with venues offering special two-and three-course prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner.
Menus will be priced at $15, $25, $35, and $45 per person (plus tax and gratuity) with everything from elevated comfort food to globally inspired cuisine being offered.
“For the most part, Manayunk restaurants are owner/chef-operated, giving diners a chance to really get to know the restaurateurs in this community,” says Manayunk Development Corporation Executive Director Gwen McCauley. “After the return and success of our Fall Restaurant Week, we knew it was a great way to highlight our chefs, our diverse flavors, and some of the newest menu items our restaurants added, as we begin to get ready to welcome the warmer weather.”
At Bar Jawn, $35 delivers a three-course dinner with a draft drink, tavern pizza, and your choice of sandwich or burger—or a shot at one of their signature eating challenges. Bayou Bar Grill, on the other hand, serves up standout tavern fare with a $25 snow crab leg feast or a $15 “Best of Philly” wings combo, each paired with a drink. At Blondie, guests can choose a $15 two-course option or a $35 three-course dinner featuring elevated American favorites and decadent desserts. Meanwhile, Cactus Cantina will serve festive lunch and dinner specials at the $15 and $25 tiers.
At Chabaa Thai Bistro, a $45 four-course experience invites diners to explore the vibrant flavors of Thailand, from satay and fragrant soups to rich curries and classic mango sticky rice. Wine lovers can settle in at Jake and Cooper’s Wine Bar for a $35 three-course dinner pairing rustic New American fare and gourmet pizzas with expertly curated pours. Additionally, Italian favorites shine at Mia Ragazza, where $45 brings house-made pastas, Roman-style pizzas, and more to the table, while SOMO Manayunk delivers a polished three-course dinner in a chic, speakeasy-inspired setting.
